Eintracht Frankfurt have strengthened their attacking options for the new season after signing 18-year-old Carlotta Wamser from SGS Essen on a contract through to 30 June 2025.
The 1.67m attacker joined FLYERALARM Women’s Bundesliga side Essen as a 16-year-old, appearing in every game in her first season with the club. She also finished as Essen’s top scorer with five goals and was voted the club’s player of the season by fans. Wamser has represented Germany at every youth level from the U15s to the U20s, for whom she has played since 2021.
“I’m very pleased we’ve been able to acquire another hugely promising talent in Carlotta Wamser, who is a perfect fit for our future side,” said sporting director Siegfried Dietrich. “We’re convinced she can take the next steps in her development here in Frankfurt.”
