The draw, conducted by UEFA, has given Eintracht Women a home game on 11 September 2025 (19:00 CEST) at the Stadion am Brentanobad, with the return leg in Spain to be played on 16 September 2025 (20:00). The tie against the Spanish league runners-up will determine which of the two teams makes it through to the league phase of the Champions League, which is being played in a different format this year. The winners of the home-and-away qualifiers will make it into the league phase, while the losers take part in the newly created UEFA Women’s Europa Cup.
Niko Arnautis: "Real Madrid is clearly the toughest draw that we could have possibly imagined, but that’s what the Champions League is all about. You’re measuring up against the best teams in Europe. It’s what we wanted and what we worked so hard for an entire season to achieve. We’re looking forward to the two matches and we’ll be doing everything we can to get through against an absolutely outstanding team and make it into the league phase."
This tie will have special significance for Eintracht’s new recruit Hayley Raso, who played for Real during the 2023/24 season and scored four goals in 28 appearances.
