Elisa Senß to join Eagles in summer

Midfielder Elisa Senß is joining Eintracht Frankfurt in the summer, signing a contract that will keep her at the club through to 2027.

Eintracht Women have made their first recruitment for next season, with Elisa Senß joining them from Bayer 04 Leverkusen and signing a contract that will keep her at the club through to 30 June 2027.

Senß is a defensive midfielder who moved to Bayer 04 Leverkusen in 2022 from SGS Essen, with whom she reached the DFB Cup final in 2020. In total, she has made 96 appearances in Bundesliga 2 and 98 in the Women’s Bundesliga.

“Really going to rock it”

“I’m so excited to be playing in an Eintracht jersey from next summer,” said Senß. “I chose Eintracht Frankfurt because I want to join a really big, professional club who share my ambitions. I can’t wait to be part of this amazing team – we’re really going to rock it in the years to come. My personal goal is to play at international level and fight for titles with Eintracht in the next few years.”

“Elisa has matured into a team leader at Leverkusen, as underlined by her call-ups for Germany” said Eintracht Women’s head coach Niko Arnautis. “We’re looking forward to having a player on our books who is strong in the tackle and will strengthen the team immediately. We’re really glad that Elisa has chosen to join Eintracht Frankfurt.”
