Géraldine Reuteler commits until 2026

The Switzerland international has extended her contract by two years until 30 June 2026.

After Lara Prasnikar extended her deal in December, Géraldine Reuteler has become the next Eintracht Women striker to renew her commitment. The Switzerland international is set to remain with the club for another two years until 30 June 2026.

Reuteler said: “I came here at the age of 19, had a lot of homesickness to begin with and needed a bit of time to settle. However, in these almost six years, I’ve not only developed very well myself but also seen how the club has developed. It’s just fun to play football here. I feel very comfortable, Eintracht has become like a second home to me. I’m looking forward to everything that lies ahead. We absolutely want to get back into the Champions League and also compete for trophies in the coming years.”

“Versatile player”

Niko Arnautis, sporting director and head coach, added: “Géry is technically and tactically a very cultured player, who brings tremendous pace and a real team mentality. She’s also shown in recent years that she’s a versatile player, who understands the game in different positions and is always dangerous for our opponents. We’re therefore delighted that she still sees her future in Frankfurt.”
