Eintracht Frankfurt Women earned a deserved 1-0 victory in their semi-final clash with 1. FC Slovácko thanks to a goal from Lara Prasnikar.
Prasnikar on target
Approximately 2,923 spectators witnessed an energetic Eagles performance from the off at the Stadion am Brentanobad, with the hosts immediately putting the opposition under pressure with their high tempo and fierce pressing.
Prasnikar deservedly put Eintracht ahead in the 24th minute, while Nicole Anyomi had two further chances to add to the scoreline a short while later (27’, 29’).
Goalless second half
Eintracht continued to dominate after the interval but were unable to extend their lead despite presentable opportunities for Tanja Pallowek (50’, 73’), Prasinkar (63’) and Shekiera Martinez (83’). As such the match ended in a narrow but deserved win for Eintracht.
