SGE striker Shekiera Martinez had to undergo a minor operation on her left knee yesterday. The surgery, carried out by team doctor Dr. Ingo Tusk, involved removing an exposed piece of cartilage after the 19-year-old had complained of pain during training. It’s expected that she will be out for a few weeks.
