Following on from the 4-1 home victory over 1. FC Nürnberg, Niko Arnautis’ side travel to Bayern Munich for a top-of-the-table clash on Saturday 9 May (kick-off 15:45 CEST).
The freshly-crowned German champions sit atop the standings on 68 points, and have only lost one of their previous 17 league assignments against Eintracht. Indeed, they have not lost against the Eagles in any of the last nine meetings in Munich.
Furthermore, since suffering a 2-0 reverse against Wolfsburg in October 2024, Bayern are unbeaten in 40 straight Bundesliga matches, bringing them within touching distance of their club record of 44 consecutive games without defeat.
The occasion will provide a reunion with Barbara Dunst, who joined Bayern from Eintracht in summer 2025, while Amanda Ilestedt moved in the opposite direction in 2021 after two years in Munich.
Red-hot Eintracht
Arnautis’ charges go into the game full of confidence after extending their winning run to five successive games. It is the longest such streak of any club in the top flight at present, and the team’s second-longest ever under Arnautis.
Goals appear to be on the cards too, as Bayern (87) and Frankfurt (61) are among the most free-scoring teams in the Bundesliga this season. Their respective chance conversion rates are similar as well (18 percent to 17 percent), while Bayern have hit the woodwork 16 times to Eintracht’s 13.
Personnel
Nicole Anyomi suffered a hamstring strain in her right leg against Nürnberg and will be sidelined until further notice, while Sophia Winkler remains unavailable.
