Niko Arnautis has held a dual role at Eintracht Frankfurt Women since the end of 2022, serving as both sporting director and head coach following the departure of Siegfried Dietrich.
Per an agreement in his recent contract extension, Arnautis will step away from this twin responsibility, which was originally intended as a temporary arrangement, at the start of the new season in September. He will now focus more on his position as head coach and driving the team’s sporting development.
In addition, former player Kristin Demann (most recently at VfL Wolfsburg) is joining the club to strengthen the area of prevention and reintegration. Alongside her playing career, the 32-year-old earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a master’s degree focusing on prevention, recovery and rehabilitation.
With 159 Women’s Bundesliga appearances and 20 senior international caps for Germany, Demann, who hung up her boots over the summer, brings valuable insight from a player’s perspective.
Selina Langhorst, a licensed physiotherapist with extensive hands-on experience, is also stepping up from the U19s to the first team to bolster the physiotherapy and rehabilitation department.
