Kai Rennich

Kai Rennich worked at 1. FFC Frankfurt for ten years before continuing to work as assistant coach of the Bundesliga team under the Eagles' roof - and thus longer than previously at 1. FSV Mainz 05, where the sports science graduate was responsible for the B juniors as assistant to former FFC coach Sven Kahlert until 2010, shared his coaching office with Thomas Tuchel and had his first coaching session alongside current Liverpool coach Jürgen Klopp. He also spent almost five years as coordinator for school, boarding school and training at the Nullfünfer's youth performance centre. At FFC, in addition to his role as assistant coach of the Bundesliga team, the A-licence holder was also in charge of the teams below the first division team. Even after the birth of his first child in 2016 and second child in 2020, travelling is still one of his favourite hobbies for the Giessen native, who kicked up to the Rheinhessen district league.
